Brand Strategy
Why positioning beats design every time

Most of the brand work that lands on our desks doesn’t have a design problem. It has a positioning problem. The logo isn’t broken. The website isn’t slow. The team is just trying to compensate for a strategy that won’t commit to a specific buyer, a specific outcome, or a specific belief.
When the position is sharp, design becomes obvious. When it isn’t, design becomes argument-by-committee.
Three signs the issue is positioning, not design
- You can’t say in one sentence who you’re for.
- Your homepage opens with capabilities, not consequences.
- Your team disagrees about what to remove.
Each is solvable in a half-day workshop, faster than another design round.
